Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Digital Home Vault (“the service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to use Digital Home Vault. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you.

To use Digital Home Vault, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account, you should contact us immediately. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account.

You agree to use Digital Home Vault only for its intended purpose: storing, organising, and managing information about your home, properties, rooms, and belongings. You must not use the service to:

• store, transmit, or promote illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content;
• upload malicious software, viruses, or other harmful code;
• infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
• harass, abuse, or threaten others;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems;
• interfere with the proper working of the service or other users’ accounts.

You may upload documents, images, and other files to your Digital Home Vault account. You are solely responsible for any content you upload. By uploading content, you confirm that:

• you have the right to store, use, and keep that content;
• the content is not illegal, malicious, or infringing on anyone else’s rights;
• the content does not include viruses, malware, or other harmful material.

We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content. We will only use it as necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the service to you. We may remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms.

Digital Home Vault and its underlying software, design, branding, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding, logos, or other proprietary materials without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the service for your account.

We aim to keep Digital Home Vault available and secure at all times. However, we provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free access and may suspend, restrict, or terminate the service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

We are not responsible for any loss of access or data caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, device failures, or third-party service interruptions.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through Account Settings in the app. Once deleted, your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

We may also suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, or if we are required to do so by law. In such cases, we may remove your content and restrict your access without prior notice.

To the extent permitted by law, Digital Home Vault and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including any loss of data, profits, or business.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service will not exceed the amount, if any, you have paid to use the service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you should stop using the service and delete your account.
